Seaweed chips made with rice paper are crunchy, light and addicting!
I found square rice paper but you can use rounds ones that are usually sold in stores.
Brush rice paper with a little water. Don’t add too much as you only need enough water for the seaweed to stick to the paper. If you don’t have a brush just sprinkle a little water with your hands.
(This methods works better than dipping the rice paper in water as you don’t have to wait for the rice paper to dry!)
Press seaweed onto the rice paper and cut into desired size.
Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, shallow fry 1-3 pieces at a time in the oil ( depending the size of your pan). It only takes 1-2 seconds for the rice paper to puff up.
Shake off excess oil and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt, pepper or any other spices desired. Enjoy!
